最近心情是不太好，大致上有點受到男友的影響，簡單來說他的前室友兼前男友終於離開台灣，但他也意識到這段關係徹底結束的同時，心情低落，連帶的我們關係也出現了一點狀況。

心情不好的時候，我會聽音樂，有時候可能會選些悲歌，有朋友說「傷心的歌總是越聽越不傷心」，或是比較有爆發力、歌唱實力的歌手，像Paloma Faith的歌，Picking Up The Pieces是我認識她的第一首單曲，以前只是單純聽曲或是編曲還不錯，沒有仔細去看看歌詞和關於這個歌手的一些背景，這次就認真作了點功課，意外發覺這首單曲或多或少可以給自己或是對方。

好好地看著歌詞把整首歌重聽一次，我自己也就默默默在電腦前哭了。前些日子光用自己的腦袋站在對方的立場想他正經歷怎麼樣的心情，似乎並沒有什麼意義，直到看著這首歌的歌詞，才得以體會生活中太多細節都有某個人的存在，如果關係結束了，但是景物都還在的時候，觸景傷情的副作用將無所不在，如影隨形地重覆出現；一如和前任分手的時候，連系館廁所、實驗室的laminar flow，都有與對方的回憶，更何況是自己租的小房間、台南的街頭、每天都在騎的機車。對於每個分手的人，總是會歷經這些事情，好吧! 我想我是能站在他的立場來看待前男友離開的事情，雖然他需要自己一個人靜靜，但希望他知道我其實一直都在，我能陪著他。

雖然專輯收錄版本的編曲氣勢磅礡，但我也很喜歡acoustic版本，簡單合聲或是清唱加上鋼琴就很豐富的音樂組合了。
